Most of the casualty owls we receive are released into the wild. For those that can't be released the Trust operates a genuine owl sanctuary "a place of peaceful retreat" that's not open to the public. The owls in our webcam image are all either disabled or too old and inexperienced and if released they wouldn't survive. They live in a specially adapted aviary in natural surroundings. We hope you enjoy watching them!

Looking after captive owls is a very small part of what the Barn Owl Trust does. To find out more, try clicking on the various headings across the top of the page. Go and explore!

The Barn Owl Trust is dedicated to conservation & education and does not operate a visitor centre.
